What do you mean to me

Are you a friend, foe or somewhere in between

Do you care if I call or wonder how I am

Will I watch as the phone rings or pick up to chat

Can I trust you with my feelings or do I guard myself to not get hurt

Is there an expiration date for your attention

If I stopped coming around or reaching out, would you miss me, or would I just be a nice memory

When I tell you something you don’t want to hear, will you shut me out

Do you value our relationship enough to call me out for a wrong

Have I met your family, have you heard how I feel about mine

I like my circle small so why should I expand it for you

Will you make me regret letting you in, or will I wonder why I didn’t find you sooner

What do I mean to you; if you are truly my friend you mean the world to me
