Loud and obnoxious

Or quiet and strange

A hard worker

Although a bit of an overachiever

Intelligent woman

But not very bright

Usually funny and witty

When she’s normally sad and depressed

Talks too much

Says very little

A good leader

However, she prefers to follow behind

Passionate and caring

Which comes off as nosy and meddling

Lonely and looking for love

Called picky and critical

Wants to be courageous and make a move

Shamed for being bold

Speaks up

Is immediately silenced

Same job

Lower pay

Scared of the dark

Retreats from the light

Smiles through pain

It’s assumed she has none

One wrong move and it’s over

One right move and it’s ignored

These are the contradictions of a woman

She’s never enough

And always too much
